From our humble 17th century beginnings as a coaching inn to your soon-to-be biggest moments, we’re familiar with setting the scene – all you need is the guest list.
Our private hire space includes everything you could possibly need, with complimentary Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, flip chart with paper and pens, bottled mineral water, and tea and coffee. Buffets and our gorgeous lunch and evening menus are also available – just ask our lovely team!
Private Dining Room

Earthy tones, golden lighting, and enviable views of our sun-kissed beer garden – those are just a few of the ways we’d describe our Private Dining Room, waiting for you and your guests at the peak of our step-lined entrance.
This private hire space offers peace and privacy without sacrificing the lush, outdoor sights, and with a curtain to close off the space, you’ll be able to soak up the moment even more without disruption – along with our flavourful dishes and tipples.
Whatever you need – business or pleasure – we have a large projector screen, a flipchart, and our wonderful team on-hand, ready to help you create the perfect event.

It’s not often you can say you have your very own private hire space and bar, but once you’ve stepped inside our elegant Private Dining Room, you won’t be able to imagine an event or celebration without it.
Complete with a door that you can close to make the space entirely yours, this chic room can be shaped entirely around you and your guests, from intimate dining to larger buffets, where you can add the adjoining area and bar. Whatever you need, it’s all yours.

Our team of skilled chefs can provide a wide range of menus to suit your event, from buffets – featuring miniature versions of iconic pub classics and artisan sandwiches – to three-course meals.
For larger parties, our celebration and buffet menus are ideal and, as they’re inspired by our seasonal À La Carte menu, we’re sure there’ll be something to tempt everybody.
Of course, you can’t toast to the best moments without a drink, and our extensive wine list and expertly crafted drinks – including signature cocktails, smooth wines, craft beers and refreshing ciders – will satisfy your thirst.
